The Waste Land Essay:  Essay Step 5 Instructions


CHECKLIST

q               Essay will be approximately 1,000 – 2,000 words in length (5-10 pages)
q               Essay must be typewritten, using standard-sized paper, 12 point font, Times New Roman, double-spaced, with 2.5 cm border top, bottom and sides, with numbered pages (headers)

q               Essay must have a cover page with ONLY the following:  title of essay; student name; teacher’s name; date   (no images or pictures!!!)

q               Essay must have a minimum of THREE sources (1+ per argument)

q               Essay must have a finalized bibliography on a separate page (with all sources used in essay) in proper MLA format / sources listed in alpha order by author’s last name

q               Essay (final copy) WILL NOT be accepted without the process steps: Plan/Outline; Draft, showing revisions; Final copy with Work Cited; Rubric.

q               Essay will be submitted Friday July 31st, 2009  (one file with title page, essay, bibliography, rubric)
